-NEW!1-03-02 I have learned the DVD and video releases of the first Harry Potter movie should not be expected until sometime mid-summer 2002. No exact dates have been announced.
-The first movie, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone", is due to come out on November the 16th, 2001.
-J.K Rowling originally said that Book 5 and the first movie were supposed to come out on the same time. But, publishers have announced that the book will come out no sooner than 2002.
